The Things We Click

Excellent advice at a Mojari shop in Jaipur.

Menu’s Menus are often a great source of entertainment at Dinner, when conversation is slow. When I go out, I rarely order for myself, but am the first to pick up the menu to look for something that amuses me. This was taken at a brief stopover for a quick junk food lunch that lasted less than a seemingly long 10 min.

Obviously for storing water, but Fire Tank?

Now one photograph that I could not click was while driving near the old fort (after Pragati Maidan and before the Zoo) in Delhi. There was a red Maruti 800 on which was a sticker - ‘Narayan Karthikien ka baap’.

(There’s more, but I’ll have to search for it. Watch this space… No, no revealing “MMS’”. Down boys.)

    Dude. The plural of “menu” is a simple “menus” - no apostrophe.

    i’ve seen that board in nehru place. rejunvenation, apparently, is a fancy alternative for a now over-used renovation.

    and hullo, fire-tanks are water storage tanks contructed to hold water for fire engines in case of an emergency.

    Heh, what’ve you got against camera phones? I rarely click photographs using it, though. Mostly on trips and during concerts and gigs.

    Harneet: Yes, fire tanks are water tanks for the fire department, but why not just call them water tanks?

    Hey, real cool camphone pics! It’s a pity that people can only think of sleaze and shit to click with camphone - what with the MMS sagas simmering perpetually. Guys, here’s proof, you can put that damn camphone to better use.

    all tanks that hold water are called water tanks, right? the correct term is fire-fighting water tanks/reservoirs. thats a shorter name for the same, i guess.
